We grow around 8,000 lavender plants and get the oil out which goes into our own products. We have a Licensed Cafe’ and Shop open 7 days a week through summer. Nevalea Alpacas

Be spoilt by choice at Nevalea Alpacas, where we farm over 600 alpacas comprising of whispery whites, earthy browns and beautiful blacks. Come feed the alpacas and visit our farm shop, where we have designer knitwear for sale – 100% New Zealand grown and made. Nevalea farm their huacaya alpacas together with their sheep and cattle on 351ha, 16km north of Taumarunui on the adventure highway.

Nevalea Alpacas welcomes visitors to the farm to enjoy the ‘ultimate alpaca experience’. Get up close to these lovely animals, hand feed them, perhaps take one for a walk and if you are lucky view a birth.
